Why subscribe?

Subscribe if you want to support a young Black writer! Hard news can be so intense sometimes, I just wanna inform readers in a humorous, personal way.

Who are you?

I’m Ariyon Dailey, a FAMU alum from Haines City, FL that currently works for a local newspaper and a non-profit magazine. I’ve worked with The Washington Post, Spectrum, Scripps, The Famuan, The Boston Globe and Black Girl Beach Day. I’m a multi-media journalist that knows how to write, produce, create content and report. I love pulling information out of people and sharing stories. My passion and my literal birth chart has led me to believe that I can be a mouthpiece for so many stories that deserve to be told. In my freetime, I’m currently enjoying writing, video games, reading books, pilates and my Gemini cat, Quique. My favorite beats are culture, beauty, food and environment. I love my little sisters, the beach, reality TV, dance and TikTok.

Where can I find more of your work?

Check out my portfolio here and email me at ariyondailey14@gmail.com if you wanna work!
